RESBATT is a registered word trademark of RESBATT GmbH, based in the Swabian town of Grafenau near Sindelfingen. The start-up company was founded in 2021 by Hans Martin Tekeser, Richard Koehnsen and Michael Engelfried (Managing Directors).
RESBATT was born out of the idea of providing emergency vehicles on the road with back-up batteries, similar to back-up fuel canisters. This would allow electric vehicles with flat batteries to recharge enough energy to get them to the next charging station. Currently, stranded electric vehicles are towed away at great expense, even if there is a charging station relatively nearby.
Just like back-up fuel canisters, RESBATT’s back-up batteries can be carried in emergency vehicles, enabling e-vehicles with flat batteries to recharge enough energy to get them to the next charging station.
From this basic idea, RESBATT developed a complete rechargeable battery system for an almost inexhaustible range of applications. There is huge demand for RESBATT’s products, and this demand continues to grow. The RESBATT system combines a range of advantages, enabling it to meet the market’s most diverse requirements – and making it one-of-a-kind in its field so far.
